The process of building high quality incoming links is one of the trickiest aspects of search engine optimization. It is also the single most important thing you can do to improve your rankings. I think we all know that the more inbound links a page has, the more popular it is, and thus, more preferred by search engines.

Building up enough incoming links to appear relevant to the engines without tripping any one of the many spam filters and penalties is the challenge for most websites. There is a secret to getting it right. Take the search engine's point of view when building your incoming link structure.

Natural links structure is the key point to remember in search engines' structures, because search engines hate artificial links.

Here are some of the strategies that I want to share with you. But let me fist discuss the difference between natural and artificial links.

  • Get links through Natural and Artificial links

Natural links vary in anchor text while artificial links tend to be identical. Also natural links increase slowly as referral sites add links one by one over time, while artificial links can grow in great numbers all of a sudden.

Natural links are inclined not to be reciprocal. However, Artificial links; rely a lot on link exchange tactics, suggesting that the link's sole purpose is reciprocity, having little or nothing to do with adding value for the site visitor by way of providing valuable content.

  • Wisely choose your links

It is helpful that link approved will add better value to your page popularity, but also contributes to the relevancy of your topic.

  • Get links from trusted pages

The best option is to acquire links from pages that are trusted. Trusted pages are     sites that already have a number of subject-related links on the referring page.

  • Fewer Number of links

Remember that the fewer the number of links on the referring page, the better.

  • What sites to avoid

Run-of-the-site links must be avoided. They are simply links to one site that appear on every page of another site. Usually they're added in to the site footer or a standard block of ads that appear on every page. So, you must avoid these because it is not helpful to your campaigns. They may trigger some sort of penalties in SEO.

Hence, before accepting links from other websites, make it sure that the site links to your website is safe, and/or not a spam, as well as helpful enough to build traffic for your website in SEO.
